ICIPE - Scaling AgroCenta’s AgroCenta Platform And Adoption for Effective Market Linkage in Ghana (SAPA)

The SAPA Project in partnership with Farrelly & Mitchel, an agribusiness consulting company will drive the adoption and growth of AgroCenta’s digital platforms for more than 20,000 smallholder farmers in the Bono, Bono East & Ahafo Regions of Ghana. Under the SAPA Project, access to market, information and digital financial services will be available to project beneficiaries within targeted areas of operations. The SAPA project will increase the income of smallholder farmers from a daily spend of less than USD $1/day to USD $4/day by enabling fair market access. Additionally, yield improvement for smallholder farmers is expected to increase from the current 0.8MT/acre to 1.4MT/acre through access to timely and relevant agricultural information, access to financing to purchase certified agricultural inputs etc.
