Regional Field Operations Manager
(Northern & Southern Zones)

Since 2016, AgroCenta has worked with over 45,000 smallholder farmers spread across the country to improve their financial livelihoods through accessing a structured market to trade fairly and accessing financial services such as loans, insurance and pensions for the informal sector.

AgroCenta's digital platforms CropChan and Lendit offer cutting edge services to smallholder farmers, other key value chain stakeholders, financial institutions such as commercial and rural banks, insurance and pensions regulated companies, mobile network operators among others to improve efficiency within the agricultural value chain. With a dynamic and rapidly growing team, AgroCenta is seeking two field operation managers (Northern & Southern Zones) to bring onboard their expertise to drive the growth of AgroCenta. The ideal candidate must possess the following:

Job Locations Accra and Bolgatanga


Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Agricultural Science, Agribusiness, Business Management or related fields.

Other Qualities and Requirements

  • Knowledge of the systemic challenges in agriculture value chains in Ghana, a passion for creating lasting solutions to them and ability to navigate farming communities.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience – ideally with the implementation of farmer interventions and agriculture stakeholder engagement.
  • Deep understanding of farmer engagement and farmers’ interaction with technology.
  • Strong leadership experience and ability to lead a team in executing projects and exceeding targets
  • Project management skills and the ability to create and stick to timelines.
  • Excellent oral communication, writing and presentation skills.
  • Passion for field work in remote areas in Ghana
  • Resident in Accra, Bolgatanga or Tamale

Soft Skills

  • Experience designing trainings to support agents with trainings farmers
  • Partnership management experience (agro dealers, communities, etc.)
  • Detail oriented to ensure data and information reported to them is crosschecked
  • Willingness to spend weeks in the field/travel up to 60% of the time
  • Operations experience
  • Human relation skills


Salary is commensurate with experience
